The LOX12 Battery Safety Charging Box offers a centralized solution for the organized storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. A total of 12 separate charging compartments allow different users to store and charge their batteries simultaneously and independently of one another.

Each compartment has its own combination lock and two 230-V outlets. This allows batteries and their chargers to be stored together in a secure compartment. This creates dedicated, organized charging stations, which are particularly useful in companies with bicycle leasing programs, larger teams, or rotating users.

The LOX12 is suitable, for example, for e-bike and e-scooter batteries, as well as for batteries used in power tools, scanners, two-way radios, and other portable devices.

What makes the LOX12 unique is its division into 12 individually lockable compartments. Unlike a traditional battery safety cabinet, the batteries are not stored together in a single large interior compartment.

Each user can store their battery and charger in a separate compartment and lock it with a unique numeric code. This not only makes organization easier but also protects the stored batteries from unauthorized access.

This makes the LOX12 particularly well-suited for locations where many people charge batteries independently of one another—for example, for employees with e-bikes or for different teams within an industrial or logistics facility.

Smoke and Temperature Monitoring for Early Warning

When charging lithium-ion batteries, damage, technical defects, or other faults can cause temperatures to rise to critical levels. The LOX12 therefore features built-in smoke and temperature detection.

If any such anomalies are detected, the audiovisual alarm system sounds an alert. An RGB LED status indicator also displays the operating status directly on the cabinet.

In addition, provision is made for connection to an external fire alarm system. This allows the LOX12 to be integrated into an existing facility-wide fire safety plan.

Optional Aerosol Fire Suppression System

The LOX12 can be optionally equipped with an aerosol fire suppression system. The system is activated upon detection of smoke or a critical rise in temperature and directly suppresses the fire within the affected area.

This adds an active fire containment component to the existing safety concept, which consists of detection, alarm systems, and structural separation.
