Large Battery Cabinet
Description
The LOXK2000 battery safety cabinet offers businesses a professional solution for the centralized storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. The cabinet combines a robust, fire-resistant design with an integrated charging infrastructure and smoke and temperature monitoring.
Four adjustable shelves allow for flexible use of the interior space. With a total of 32 outlets, chargers can be plugged in directly inside the cabinet. This makes the LOXK2000 particularly well-suited for businesses that regularly need to store and charge large numbers of batteries for power tools, e-bikes, e-scooters, scanners, drones, or other mobile devices.
Early Detection Through Smoke and Temperature Monitoring
When charging lithium-ion batteries, defects, prior mechanical damage, or other faults can lead to a critical rise in temperature and, in the worst case, to thermal runaway.
The LOXK2000 is therefore equipped with built-in smoke and temperature monitoring. If any abnormalities are detected, an audible alarm is triggered. In addition, the cabinet can be connected to an existing fire alarm system.
The self-closing doors with multi-point locks and the integrated ventilation system round out the security concept. The exhaust air can also be connected to an external exhaust system via a dedicated connection.
VDMA 24994-certified battery safety
The LOXK2000 is certified according to VDMA 24994. As part of the test, a thermal runaway of lithium-ion batteries is triggered inside the cabinet, and the behavior of the entire system under these conditions is examined.
Among other things, the test evaluates the cabinet’s mechanical stability and temperature trends on the exterior. The LOXK2000 thus offers a tested solution for companies that want to store and charge lithium-ion batteries in a centralized and secure manner.

Optional Aerosol Fire Suppression System
Optionally, the LOXK2000 can be equipped with an aerosol extinguishing system. The system is activated upon detection of smoke and disperses the aerosol inside the cabinet. This provides additional protection against the fire and helps limit its spread to other batteries stored in the cabinet.
Cabinet or battery-powered safe shelf—which solution is right for your application?
Depending on the number, size, and capacity of the batteries, as well as operational requirements, different safety concepts may be considered.
The LOXK2000 is particularly well-suited for situations where lithium-ion batteries are regularly stored and charged in a central location and a comprehensive cabinet solution with integrated charging infrastructure, detection, alarms, and an automatic locking mechanism is required.
