The VLITEX Story

2015

Start of development and sales of technical textiles for construction.

April 2020

Establishment of the business field fire protection, development of first prototypes of technical textiles.

July 2020

ACTS, the competence center in the Magna Steyr Group, successfully tests the suitability of the VLITEX Premium M fire blanket for battery fires.

September 2021

The VLITEX Premium M fire blanket is the first product on the market to be certified for use on battery fires.

January 2021

ADAC reports about our VLITEX Car Service Set in Motorwelt 1/2022 and in its internal publication for towing services, ADAC Intern. Together we had undertaken a field test and successfully verified the suitability of the Car Service Set for the containment of battery fires.

March 2022

Sales launch in France and the Benelux.

April 2022

We establish VLITEX Nordic AB, based in Sweden. This puts us in an even better position to operate in the modern markets in Scandinavia. The environment and especially e-mobility are topics that have an extremely high priority here.

January 2023

We start a partnership with Riester GmbH. Our VLITEX Premium M fire barrier blanket will now be used in ecell-guard, the first fully automatic fire protection system for parking facilities.
