Description
The LOXK1100 battery safety cabinet offers a compact solution for the centralized storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. With a width of just 760 mm, it is particularly well-suited for facilities where space is limited but a cabinet solution certified to VDMA 24994 is still required.
Two adjustable shelves divide the interior into three compartments and allow for flexible arrangement of various batteries and chargers. The built-in charging strip allows batteries to be charged directly inside the cabinet.
This makes the LOXK1100 suitable, for example, for batteries in e-bikes and e-scooters, power tools, scanners, two-way radios, and other mobile devices.
Smoke and Temperature Monitoring for Early Warning
Lithium-ion batteries can generate excessive heat, particularly if they are damaged, have technical defects, or are being charged. Detecting such abnormalities as early as possible is therefore a key component of the safety plan.
The LOXK1100 features built-in smoke and temperature detection. In the event of an alarm, an audiovisual warning is triggered. An RGB LED also indicates the cabinet's current status.
In addition, the battery safety cabinet is designed to be connected to an external fire alarm control panel. This allows it to be integrated into existing operational safety plans.
VDMA 24994-certified battery safety
The LOXK1100 is certified according to VDMA 24994. The standard defines requirements for safety cabinets used for the storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries.
As part of the test, the cabinet's behavior in the event of a battery fire, its mechanical stability, and its detection and alarm functions, among other things, are evaluated.
The LOXK1100 combines this proven safety with an exceptionally compact design, making it suitable even for smaller workshops and work areas.

Optional Aerosol Fire Suppression System
For an additional layer of safety, the LOXK1100 can be optionally equipped with an aerosol suppression system. In the event of a fire, the system is automatically activated and suppresses the fire inside the closed cabinet.
The optional system thus complements the existing smoke and temperature detection as well as the alarm functions of the battery safety cabinet.
A compact alternative for smaller battery capacities
The LOXK1100 is particularly well-suited for companies that regularly store and charge lithium-ion batteries but do not need a large cabinet solution. Thanks to its compact, single-door design, it can also be used in smaller workshops and work areas.
