VLITEX stands for innovative solutions in the field of textile fire protection. Our journey began in 2015 with the development and sale of technical textiles for the construction industry. Since then, we have continued to develop and set new standards in fire protection. Today, we are a leader in the production of high-quality fire blankets and fire protection solutions that are valued worldwide.

Our milestones:

  • January 2015: Start with technical textiles for the construction industry.
  • April 2020: Entry into fire protection and development of first prototypes.
  • July 2020: Successful tests of the VLITEX PREMIUM fire blanket on battery fires by the ACTS competence center in the Magna Steyr Group
  • September 2021: The VLITEX PREMIUM is the first product on the market to be certified for use in battery fires.
  • January 2022: Cooperation with the ADAC: Successful practical tests of the VLITEX Car Service Set for battery fires, presented in ADAC Motorwelt and ADAC Intern.
  • March 2022: Sales launch in France and the Benelux countries.
  • April 2022: Foundation of VLITEX Nordic AB in Sweden to better serve the Scandinavian markets with a focus on e-mobility and environmental protection
  • October 2023: Relocation to larger offices in Bayreuth due to our steady growth.
