The VLITEX fire blanket E-AUTO is extremely tear-resistant. With a tensile strength of up to 2,200 N / 5 cm, an ordinary car could theoretically be suspended from a 1 x 1 m piece of fabric without the material tearing.
Nevertheless, improper placement or removal of the cover can cause damage. We therefore recommend practicing placing and removing the blanket. With the right momentum, the blanket glides over the burning object almost like on an air cushion and then sinks down. When removing the blanket, it should ideally be folded over first to ensure safe handling.
